Diana will show you ways to take your haircutting skills to the next level. She will be using a set of techniques and tools when combined, will WOW the client in your chair. These simple additions to your haircutting repertoire will make the ordinary haircut extraordinary.
We will go into depth about “how” to use the tools and techniques as well as “why”.
We’ll be “bouncing” “penciling”, “paring” and finally....a little “twist and shout”!
When you pick up your razor or your favorite shears next...you’ll be ready to create. Get ready for success!

Diana will show you ways to take your haircutting skills to the next level. She will be using a set of techniques and tools when combined, will WOW the client in your chair. These simple additions to your haircutting repertoire will make the ordinary haircut extraordinary.
We will go into depth about “how” to use the tools and techniques as well as “why”.
Technique - graduation and round layering Tools - shears, razor and texturizing shears
We’ll use 2 classic techniques together to create a beautiful shape that allows for maximum movement, defined neckline and indention to create a flattering shape for the individual.
This set of techniques is easily adapted to different densities, lengths and curl patterns. These haircutting techniques can be used on their own or with other cutting methods. This is not THE ONLY way to create these shapes, it is one way to create lift, movement, reduce width and add texture to a hair design. Put these techniques in your professional bag of tricks and enjoy the results year after year.
